It's Friday morning, I know, but as I woke up, it felt like Saturday. Relaxed and unstressed. It's nice being "on schedule" again at work, even if it's not a hard requirement. As the CEO has said several times in the meetings I've been in, "We're making something new here, and there's some risk associated with that. We aren't going to get the time estimation exactly right, we just need to get it as close as possible." Or something similar.

Anyway... I don't know why my body said it wanted to get up at 6am. No single or group of parts was aching, no need to hit the bathroom... just felt that I wouldn't fall back asleep. So I'm up & mobile, although not dressed yet... just in case I do feel sleep and want to nap another hour before work. ^_^

Wow, you really did get up early, didn't you? Just seems strange because we didn't get to bed until after 12:30 last night. But I was pretty awake when I got up 20 minutes later, so I guess it was just a restful night. That, or I'll be taking a nice long nap later! ;)

Full tummy, soft bed, sunshine, purring kitties... makes me think I'm part cat myself. ;)

I used to have a terrible time trying to shut down my brain so I could sleep, but now the body says it needs rest, and the brain just sort of plays along. Not all the time... sometimes I just have to settle for settling in and watching a movie.
