Leading up to the XBox/GameCube launch, I've had this weird excitbility that I couldn't quite place. When I got in line at Wal-Mart at 8:00PM Saturday, I think I realized what it was.
Even in college, I've never "camped out" for anything. Or even waited in line for a release. It's a weird experience, how you bond with these random people who just happen to be in line ahead of and behind you.
It was a good experience. And, according to the people at Wal-Mart, the Game Cube crowd was more pleasant than the XBox crowd.
