We also went to see Garfield this afternoon. Cute movie, really should be considered separate from the comic. I think there are a lot of in-jokes that the target youth audience won't pick up on. Also, I don't believe I have ever seen so much product placement crammed in a single movie. Sorta disappointing that there wasn't anything after the credits.
Oh, it also opens with a short featuring the rat from Ice Age, still looking for a place to hide the acorn. Good luck!
Hanging out here for a bit, then we'll get dinner and head back to the hotel. SBC will cut off service tomorrow, but I don't know if that will be early in the morning or later in the afternoon/evening. I have my notebook set up (and tested!) for Speakeasy dial-up, so we should be able to get online tomorrow night.
The cats are taking it about as well as possible. They seem to be adjusted to the empty apartment, but I'm sure I'll hear it while I have them in the car tomorrow. Basically, they'll be in the carriers from when the cleaners get here until we get to the new apartment. Long day in close quarters for them; hopefully they won't be too angry. We got new little cat beds to put in their carriers; they've been laying down on them occasionally.
