As I left for work this morning, there was a squirrel outside our door. The cats saw this squirrel, and didn't seem to know what to do. Munchie talks with birdies, and Peanut hisses and tries to scare other cats away. With the squirrel, they just kept looking at it.

I was afraid to leave, because the cats seemed to like watching the squirrel, and I thought opening the door would scare it away. Surprisingly enough, it didn't.

Cats can be amused so easily... if only Peanut didn't insist on turning me into a personal kitty-bed when I sat on the couch!

Scratch one from the procrastination column...

Finally did the PTO form to take April 9th off. Our friend Anna is coming from Virginia to visit & stay with us that weekend. She gets here Friday morning and heads home late Sunday night.

At least I didn't procrastinate myself right out of my options, like I have so many times before. But then I think I've been procrastinating less and less since the move. Except when it comes to getting the oil changed in my car--I still procrastinate that a lot.

The interviewees are getting here later on Saturday than previously expected. Mr. Director came to ask about my plans, and said that rather than squeeze me he's going to ask another person (option #4) if he can help out instead...

But this still means I don't know what the plans are. I guess tenatively it's going to be at my place (since it's for my birthday and no one else has suggested or offered to host it). Personally I'd rather have it on Saturday, but I'd also rather have as many people be able to make it as possible. Probably shooting for 6ish on Saturday, and it goes as long as it goes.
