Yesterday, we made tacos for dinner at home. (Everything came together wonderfully.) So today I was still in the mood for those good tacos. So we decided to go to a local Mexican restaurant--you know the type, with the universal list of 30 combination platters that every place shares. I got one of the combination plates (taco, enchilada, gordita, chile rellanio, something else), and realized I only liked the taco. The gordita was okay, then enchilada sauce sucked, the chile rellanio wasn't great, and I didn't even touch the something else. Add to that the untouched side of refried beans and the mostly-eaten rice... I don't really like Mexican food. I like tacos. And the Taco Bell varieties of everything else, which are basically tacos in different forms I guess.
Anyway.. there's my insight for the day.
