Being a "short-timer" is weird. I feel that a lot of people are relating to me differently. I still don't know if the differences are positive or negative. This isn't quite the situation to which everyone is adjusted--I'm leaving on my own, not due to a company layoff. And so I feel that no one knows what the right words are.

And then, I'm still being called into design meetings. That is definitely a weird feeling. I mean, 8 business days left (including today), and I'm still asked to help out with design. At least one thing hasn't changed--they still don't really like my suggestions. :^)

*huggles* Goodmorning! (Afternoon for you hehe)

I was pulled in to design meetings and such before they laid me off.... At least you know you're leaving!

True true... but I'm so nice, I'm not taking advantage of the situation to foist a terrible and unimplementable architecture upon them, knowing that I won't have to implement it.

Of course... the system already has a terrible and mis-implemented architecture that is beyond all hope of repair, so I guess there's not much I could do, even if I wanted! ^_^

Hehe... but didn't you say they don't like your ideas? What if you did suggest a horrendous architecture design and they accepted? Wouldn't that be a hoot?

I might just have to try it now, maybe that's been the problem all this time: my co-workers only like horrendous designs! hehehe
