New Mexico has the highest speed limit I've yet encountered on this trip, 75 MPH. Of course, when you're climbing to Albuquerque (Altitude: 5,000 ft), a moving van can't keep up 75 MPH.

When we were about an hour and a half away from Albuquerque (yes, I'm very proud that I know how to spell Albuquerque now), we hit an ice storm that I was worried would stop us for the night. However, we pulled off the road, reconsidered, and headed out again at 45 MPH, which was managable. There wasn't any ice collecting on the road, but I was keeping a close watch out. Fortunately, we did get out of that storm & safely into Albuquerque for the night.

We've got a wide range of stop options for tomorrow. If we make good time and/or I feel like driving a bit later, we might actually be in California tomorrow night (but it'll be a bit of a stretch I think).
